I’m sure you all know who Adele is and if you don’t, you are missing out. Her songs have inspired me and brought me through so many hard times in my life. I swear it's like she reads my mind every time she writes a song.
Her new song came out called “Take it easy on me” and man is it good. As Sarah and I were listening to it, she turned to me and said “we should always take it easy on people, you never know what someone is going through”. I couldn’t believe how true that is. We all deserve a little grace and forgiveness. We all deserve a free pass and a moment where we are allowed to be whatever we need to be in the moment.
The truth is, we have no clue what others are going through. We don’t know the struggles they face behind closed doors. Some people are battling cancer, going through a divorce, in an abusive relationship, a death of a loved one, and so many more things. We all are fighting a silent battle and we all have our own demons that we have to face. Instead of judging others for how they act or giving them a hard time, we should choose today to try and go easy on people. We all are dealing with our own things and it doesn’t help to have people being so hard on us on top of it all.
